The Heroes Rugby Challenge will take place on Saturday (December 3rd) at Twickenham Stadium.

It will pit an all-star Northern Hemisphere side against an all-star Southern Hemisphere outfit.

A number of ex-professionals are set to line up at the event – including Danny Grewcock, Kenny Logan and Ben Cohen – with all of the proceeds going to Help for Heroes.

It is hoped in excess of £1 million will be collected through gate receipts and donations, while the cost of hosting the occasion has been covered by sponsors.

Grewcock, currently director of rugby at Bath, told Sky Sports that he could not turn down an invite to help out such a "brilliant cause".

"I wouldn't have come back for anything other than a fabulous charity such as this – I just would have liked a bit more training, though," he added.

Kickoff is at 16:30 GMT at the London location, with up to 60,000 people expected to attend.
