Have you ever played the game Angry Birds?

It's a mobile app where you try and blow up various objects while firing animals from a catapult.

The title has become a smash hit and now a 12-year-old from Barford in Warwickshire has built a life-sized version of it.

Sam Beards uses a canon powered by compressed air made by his father to allow it to happen.

"I like the game and my brothers and I thought it would [be] good fun to take the idea from Angry Birds and put it into real life," young Sam stated.

His father Dorian admitted he did not know what his son was talking about when he suggested they play Angry Birds, but admitted all of the kids seem to have a great time.

It makes me wonder what other cool games could be brought to life and I wouldn't mind playing Tetris or Pong in a back yard.
