Single soldiers looking for love on the internet may be buoyed by the experience of one couple.<\/p>\n
Priscilla and Ted told the Vancouver Observer that they chose to give online dating a go for different reasons, but are very happy with the result.<\/p>\n
After initially meeting up in 2008, the pair are now married and looking forward to a long and happy life with each other.<\/p>\n
When asked about her decision to give the web a go, Priscilla stated: "I'm glad I gave it a chance. I had … apprehensions at first, but it ended up being a good judgment call."<\/p>\n
On the other hand, her husband remarked although he thought it might be seen as "goofy", his busy lifestyle convinced him that it was worth a shot.<\/p>\n
It comes after Peter Spalton, founder of thedatingdoctor.co.uk, said taking to the web to find a partner is a good way to improve confidence.<\/p>\n
