Dogs really are a man's best friend and most of them follow their masters everywhere they go.

But one daring hound has taken this to the extreme, as he goes parachuting with his owner at thousands of feet in the air.

The ten-year-old pug named Otis has just completed his 64th tandem skydive alongside Will DaSilva and footage seems to show him having the time of his life.

Otis is strapped into a special harness and attached to his owner, as well as being dressed in a pair of customised goggles that protect the canine's eyes while he flies through the skies.

Mr DaSilva reckons the dog is "having a ball" and likens the experience to when hounds hang their heads out of car windows.

The duo head to the Lodi Parachute Centre in Acampo, Los Angeles, where they charge $100 for a tandem jump (£60.87), so it's a pretty expensive hobby, but Otis looks like he's loving it.
