Are you scared of heights?

Many of us would get a bit nervy if we were 328 ft in the air, but that didn't seem to be a problem for Chinese acrobat Saimaiti Aishan, who recently tried to break a Guinness World Record while suspended high in the sky.

The daring individual attempted to cross a tightrope that had been stretched between two hot air balloons at the lofty height.

He tried to cross the 50 ft wire while being filmed for TV and hundreds of onlookers gathered below to watch Mr Aishan in action.

That same day, the acrobat had performed the same task at 100 ft and was building up to the current record of 650 ft.

But as he neared the halfway mark, Mr Aishan slipped and was forced to drop his balance pole while he clung to the wire.

A slim belt connected the daring male with the rope and he held on until the balloons were lowered to the ground.

He might fancy taking inspiration from Frenchman Phillipe Petit, who is known for his incredible tightrope walk between New York's Twin Towers.
